REF CEO Embarks on a provincial tour

REF CEO EMBARKS ON TOUR OF PROVINCES TO ENCOURAGE STAFF TO ADHERE TO WORK ETHICS AND IMPROVE ON PERFORMANCE

Rural Electrification Fund (REF) Chief Executive, Eng Joshua  Mashamba has embarked on a tour of provinces to encourage staff members to adhere to work ethics and improve on performance.

Accompanied by senior management, Eng Mashamba’s first port of call was in Midlands and later went to Mashonaland Central and both Matabeleland North and South provinces.

During his address, the CEO discouraged all unethical conduct at work place and challenged staff members to stick to core values spelt out in the mission statement of REF.

“Have you ever asked yourself a question on what you are doing at work is in line best practices as enshrined in the mission statement,?’’ asked the Eng Mashamba.

The CEO had spent the better part of his address at all the visited provinces explaining all the six core values and telling all staff members to stick to them when doing their work.

“Even if you are claiming T and S, are you adhering to the actual time you depart and arrive at the station without cheating?,” he asked again.

The CEO’s meeting was a no holds bar discussion where staff members were given an opportunity to present their grievances, experiences and concerns they want the Fund to address.

“As an organization we need to know the direction that we are moving towards so that we are not lost along the way” said Eng Mashamba.
