Eng Joshua Vunganai Mashamba

Chief Executive

Eng Mashamba is the Chief Executive of the Rural Electrification (REF). He was appointed Chief Executive in 2013. Previously, Eng Mashamba was the Director-Business Development, a post he held since he joined REF from the Ministry of Energy and Power Developments in 2002. Eng Mashamba holds a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering which he obtained at Kharkov Polytechnical Institute in Ukraine. The Chief Executive also holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Degree which he obtained with Nottingham University in 2012


 

Engineer  Batsirai Reuben Machamire

Executive Director (Operations)

Engineer Machamire is the Executive Director - Operations. He was appointed in 2002. Previously Engineer Machamire worked for Air Zimbabwe, NRZ, USAI and ZESA where he was assigned to the Rural Electrification Fund unit. He holds a Degree in Aeronautical Engineering & Design and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He is a Chartered Engineer, a member of the Zimbabwe Institute of Engineers and Institute of Mechanical Engineers


 

Mrs F Matambo

Executive Director (Finance)

Mrs Ferida Matambo is a holder of a Master’s in Business Administration, Bachelor of Accounting  degree, is the current Vice President and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Zimbabwe and is a member of the Institute of Directors Zimbabwe. She is a Public Accountant registered with the Public Auditors and Accountants Board. 


Engineer Cliff Nhandara

Executive Director (Business Development)

Engineer Cliff Nhandara is the Executive Director Business Development (A). Before then, Engineer Nhandara was the Business Development Manager. Engineer Nhandara holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the National University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe.
